Crawford Custom Amps
My amps are the result of years of experimentation with the iconic designs of Fender, Marshal and Vox. I developed a philosophy of less is more, focusing on component quality and uncompromising construction techniques. The circuits are built on 1/8 inch G10/FR4 high pressure fiberglass laminate, using turret lugs and point to point construction. The transformers are manufactured to the highest standards by Hammond Manufacturing in Canada. All parts are the finest available, sourced locally whenever possible. All my amps are available in solid wood or vinyl covered cabinets. I build them one at a time, so every amp is truly unique.

The inspiration for this design is pure minimalism. The goal was to create a great sounding, touch sensitive amp, in as small a package as possible. This amp offers the player exceptional dynamic control, transition from clean to mean is in the players hands. The EL84 power tubes produce a smooth distortion with strong mids, loads of harmonics, and classic Vox chime.
